Welcome to Mini Musicians!
This class is designed to be a positive, creative, and exploratory first introduction to music for kids 3-5 years old in a group setting. The program incorporates piano playing and will provide great preparation for more traditional piano lessons, but it is also beneficial for children who will go on to study other instruments too as they will be exploring pitch, patterns and rhythm.
Sessions are held once a week in my Lower Sackville home studio, and run from February to June (with a week off for March Break). Each session is 45 minutes, and requires little to no practice at home. This program is designed to make students feel successful and have a great first experience with music!
There are two options for session times - students will only attend one session each week, but are able to swap times if necessary:
- Mondays 4:15-5:00pm
- Saturdays 9:00-9:45am
There are no pre-requisites for these sessions, and all learning materials are provided by me. The cost of the program is $75 per month, with a minimum of 4 students (maximum of 6) in each session. Parents/guardians are not required to stay each week, but are able to sit in from time to time.
*Because of the nature of the material, registration is on-going and students can enroll at any time, without missing out on crucial material.
