Welcome! I'm Nikki Martin, and I've been teaching piano and theory since 2006. I've studied music since I was 4 years old, and obtained my Bachelor of Music in Piano and Music Theory at Mount Allison University in 2012.
I teach a broad range of skill levels, including performance, history, theory and harmony. My students range from the very beginner to the advanced, and are students of all ages.
I don't teach just one method, but instead work with each student as an individual, supporting their learning style, their interests, and their needs. No two students will receive the same lesson, as no two students are the same.
I truly enjoy sharing the gift of music with my students, and seeing their love of music grow with each accomplishment!
Ciara van der Put is a new teacher to my studio, and comes with a lot of knowledge, passion, and excitement for music! An advanced student of mine, Ciara has 8 years of piano experience. She is detail-oriented, and very adept at building the foundation of musical education. She teaches beginner piano students of all ages in her home studio in Hammonds Plains.
